“ We ordered the specials, Red beans and rice with cajun sausage, Jerk Turkey and rice, Fried green tomatoes, Cucumber and tomato salad, Mac n cheese and Sweet potato pie. Friendly service and clean place thank you! The ingredients were fresh , the seasonings wer on par and presentation was beautiful. This is no ordinary mac and cheese btw. They brought the real cheese to the plate. No fake stuff ! This is above what we expected . Soul food taken to the next level ! ”
“ I asked my friend to recommend a good place for soul food and knew he'd steered me well before I'd even gotten the restaurant's front door open. The smell was rich and warm and felt like a hug. Smoked turkey melting off the bones and served in its own sumptuous stock ... Slow cooked greens with a bit of potlikker to drink at the end ... Butter beans that were rich and creamy, perfectly cooked and not at all mushy. And a side of homemade cornbread. Mmmm! Yes, ma'am, pleaseandthankyou! ”

The folks there were enjoying themselves and the bartender was amazing. She had the order ready, knew I was there working, refilled drinks for the people sitting across from the bar, and had me back out the door with the best smelling dinner for my customer before I had time to remember that I was headed to a delivery drop off. The only thing I would suggest is more parking. ”
